PRODUCTION
At Spectrum News 1 Raleigh, I rotated through breaking news production and morning and evening news segments, and produced "Spectrum News in 90"—a daily news highlight feature. I gained hands-on experience in news production, creating impactful content under tight deadlines. This role developed my skills in digital production, story development, and high-stakes news reporting, allowing me to deliver timely, accurate information to viewers across North Carolina.
DIGITAL PRODUCTION
Working closely with lead team members, I wrote engaging digital content, managed workflows, and optimized audience engagement strategies. This role has allowed me to develop my skills in storytelling, digital media production, and adapting content for various online platforms.
MULTIMEDIA REPORTER
As a multimedia reporter, I pitched, scripted, filmed, and edited local evening news packages covering timely issues in Raleigh. I conducted on-the-ground interviews, captured B-roll footage, and edited segments using Adobe Premiere Pro. I also wrote and edited VO/SOTs and crafted teases to promote upcoming broadcasts.
